Psoriasis is a skin disease that is constant and never ending. It can be recognized by red patches of skin that are covered with white scales. People with Psoriasis usually have this red scaling looking rash on various parts of their body including the genitals, ears, elbows, knees, bell button, bottom and even the scalp.

Psoriasis is thought to be a disorder of the immune system. Diets can also be changed to help with Psoriasis. Adding such items to your diet such as zinc, garlic, ginseng and enzymes, fish oil, evening primrose oil and shark cartilage all have been used in patients with Psoriasis. It is best to talk with your physician before you change your diet or add other supplements to your diet.
Sun and water have also showed some improvement in people with Psoriasis. The heat from the sun even has benefits to arthritis associated with psoriasis.
